Main composition and characters
Influenza A(H1N1)virus or like virus, recommended by WHO, approved by the Chinese SFDA, are cultured in healthy embryonated hen’s eggs, harvested, inactivated, concentrate and purified, then split and purified again, diluted with PBS as a buffer solution to formulate this vaccine. The vaccine is a slightly opalescent liquid with thiomersal as a preservative.
The influenza A (H1N1) virus antigen in each 0.5 ml equals to:
A/California/7/2009-like virus --------------------------15 µg Hemagglutinin
Object of inoculation
This vaccine is used in people who are susceptible to influenza A(H1N1), such as children, seniors, valetudinarian and people within an influenza epidemic area.
Function and purpose
This vaccine is used for the prophylaxis of influenza A(H1N1). It can raise anti-influenza A(H1N1) antibodies after inoculation.
Specifications
0.5ml/Vial. One dose is equal to 0.5mlï¼containing 15μg of influenza haemagglutinin of H1N1 virus strain.
Usage and Dosage
To inject in the deltoid of the upper arm by intramuscular injection (i.m.). 1 dose of 0.5 ml, is enough for adults and children of an age over 36 months.
